Welcome to Smoke Signals

Welcome to CAAMP's newest member benefit "Smoke Signals". The Carolinas Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals Blog and Podcast. This is our newest member benefit available to learn more ways to grow your business.

Smoke signals is an early form of the optical telegraph, developed by the native North Americans and Chinese (as in the towers of the Great Wall.) By covering an open fire with a blanket, and suddenly removing it for a short time, a puff of smoke is generated. With some training, the sizes, shapes of, and intervals between these puffs can be controlled in a way that can be observed from a long distance, and used to carry information.

CAAMP Smoke Signals blog and podcast will allow members to learn tips and tools from experts in the field and more. The podcast will offer live interviews and group conversations on upcoming CAAMP events and industry news.

Please take a moment and subscribe at the sign-up box on the left. You will receive auto-"smoke signals" through your e-mail of new postings.
